The Play-it-Forward program provides donated new and used refurbished instruments to underprivileged children of all ages, music departments of health organizations and underserved schools whose students show musical potential and passion. In order to provide equitable access to music education, sponsorship opportunities are available to help these schools, organizations and children whose families are deeply committed to making music a priority in their lives.

Elementary School Requirements

• All applicants must be an Elementary School student entering grades 1-5
• Letter of reference from an adult (non-relative) who can speak about your motivation to work and learn.

Middle/High School Requirements

• All applicants must be a Middle or High School student entering grades 6-12
• Brief essay (150-word minimum) detailing how a sponsorship from The Farina Foundation would help you reach your goals in music
• Letter of reference from an adult (non-relative) who can speak about your motivation to work and learn.
